Quick Start - VS Code

Installation - VS Code​

  1. Navigate to account.wallyax.com.
  2. Login or create an account.
  3. Click on the Keys tab in the sidebar.
  4. Copy the listed developer key.
  5. Visit the Visual Studio Marketplace.
  6. Click Install and click on Open Visual Studio Code.
  7. Click on Settings icon in the opened extension page once the file opens.
  8. Paste the previously copied developer key in the Waxlinter › Linter: Api Key textbox.
  9. Press Cmd+Shift+P (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+P (Windows/Linux) to open the Dev Command Palette.
  10. Search for Developer: Reload Window and activate it.
  11. WAX Linter will now automatically check files on save events.
